Who ya got?!?!

As the race to Macon begins on Tuesday February 24th, the Ryze staff is excited about the opening round matchups this post-season. Have a look at which matchups have the staff's interest the most.

• Milton at Decatur: 1st Team All-Region selections Tobias Brinkley (Tulane commit) and Jason Welborn II (1,000 career points) lead the Bulldogs in a home matchup against Milton HS. Milton, led by junior forward and All-Region selection Solomon Bratton, enters the matchup with a 21-6 record.

• Pebblebrook vs Cherokee: The feature matchup of this game will be between junior guard Braylon Luster (All-Region selection and 1,000 pt. scorer) of Cherokee HS and Kennesaw State commit Zyree Brown of Pebblebrook.

• Cartersville vs Mays: Cartersville is a very talented yet underrated squad. They enter the matchup having four All-Region team selections and 21 wins on the season. Mays enters the matchup with a trio of stars, all selected to the All-Region Team, including Region Player of the Year Jack Sparks, who also is a 1,000-point scorer for his career.

• Walton vs Hillgrove: Walton takes the trip to Cobb County to face the Hillgrove Hawks. Adrian Falayi is one of four Raiders to be selected to the All-Region team. Hillgrove is led by junior forward Asa Montgomery. Montgomery is one of three All-Region selections for the Hawks.
