Walton vs Hillgrove was a highly competitive game from start to finish that featured physicality and shot making from both teams. Walton senior guard Adrian Falayi led all scorers with 25 points while sophomore forward Alek Avaliani chipped in with 12 points. Juniors Asa Montgomery (20 points) and Landon Grundy (15 points), and sophomore guard Bryson Jatta (10 points) proved too much as they carried the Hawks to the win down the stretch. Junior guard Mike Stringer knocked in the go-ahead three pointer with less than a minute in the fourth quarter to give the Hawks the lead for good.
