Top Performers - The Warm-Up

DJ Mitchell, Blue Collar Basketball

DJ Mitchell (2027 - Pickens HS) had a really good outing this past weekend at the Warm-Up for BCB. Mitchell is a big time shot maker with deep range, a consistent shooting motion, and is a tough cover because he moves well without the ball and doesn't need much space to get his shot off. This weekend DJ impressed the staff with his ability to make shots in bunches and should be on college coaches' radars really soon.

Alek Avaliani, Atlanta Timberwolves

Alek Avaliani (2028 - Walton HS) was one of the better frontcourt players from the weekend. He showcased his toughness and skillset which made him tough to deal with. Often smiling at the physical contact he was confronted with, Avaliani scored the ball well from both blocks, showed good touch, and converted tough basket through contact. The 6'6" bruiser also showed his shot making ability, as he made an average of 2.8 three pointers per game.

Keelan Day, Griffin Grasshoppers (GGE)

Keelan Day (2027 - Spalding HS) averaged 20.3 points per game on the weekend, including a 30-point game in his first outing. Day is a has good size and strength combined with a quick burst which allows him to play through contact as he gets downhill but his shot making jumps out. Day made shots off the catch and dribble with deep range.

Kaden hibbert, Ga stunners

Kaden Hibbert (2028 - South Paulding HS) also had 30 points in his first outing which put the Ryze Staff on notice immediately. Kaden has good size, plays with good pace, and works the mid-range with efficiency. Kaden plays with a level of poise not always seen from younger guards. That will serve him well as he continues to progress further into high school.

Jaiston Duff, Five Star

Jaiston Duff (2027 - Murray County HS) may be the smallest guard on this list but he's as impactful as everyone else. Duff has an elusive handle and quickness, but his playmaking separates him from other lead guards at the event. Duff did a really good job touching the paint and finding teammates.
