mAKARI tOWNSEND (2029), gAINESVILLE HS

Rising sophomore, Makari Townsend gets a lot done on the floor. He sports good positional size which allows him to play and defend multiple positions. Townsend does a good job on the offensive and defensive boards, he has playmaking chops, and the shot making is legit both from the three and mid-range.

Kenny Redd (2028), Greenbrier

Kenny Redd impressed the RYZE Staff with his speed and feel for the game. The rising junior guard did a good job of orchestrating the offense. Redd did of good job of generating paint touches and creating scoring opportunities for himself and others.

TJ Parker (2030), Allatoona

Incoming freshman Parker did a good job of establishing himself as a reliable post presence. TJ showed good patience in the post as he maneuvered to his scoring area, he was physical, and when it was time to finish showed good touch with both the left and right hand.

Tyson Sharper (2027), Riverwood

Rising senior Tyson Sharper is highly competitive and an aggressive scorer. Sharper is a strong downhill driver who doesn't shy away from contact but still gets to his scoring area consistently. He did a good job of putting pressure on the rim, getting to the free throw line, and finishing through contact. Tyson is also a reliable shot maker off the bounce and catch; he scored 29 points and knocked in a highly contested game-winning three pointer in sudden death.

Roman Sears (2030), Gainesville

Freshman forward Roman Sears has a bright future, and his continued development will provide Gainesville a force in the paint for years to come. Sears has a long wingspan, soft touch, and does a good job on the boards, grabbing out of area and contested rebounds.
