RYZE Tip Off Classic 16U Top Performers Pt. 3

Brent Bowman, AC Georgia (Pictured)

Bowman is a big sleeper in Georgia's 2023 class. He does not shy away from looking for his own offense and is really crafty off the dribble, getting into the paint and creating open looks or himself. Defenders had trouble keeping him in front all weekend, and he should become a name in North Georgia over the next few years and throughout the rest of the travel season.

Da'avion Thomas, Freebandz Celtics

Our staff was really impressed with everything that Thomas did over the weekend. He's a pure attacker and makes great reads off the dribble. He finds teammates consistently for buckets and can score the ball in the paint with both hands. He also is a standout on the defensive side of the floor and really brings a lot of energy and ball pressure. He was one of the best PG's that the 16U division had to offer.

RJ Johnson, Team Grind

Good luck keeping Johnson in front of you. He has the build of a linebacker and is extremely physical with the ball in his hands. He knows that he has the physical advantage against almost anyone and has an alpha dog mentality. He is good off the dribble and uses his frame to create space and attack help defenders, and he finishes through contact very well.

Karris Bilal, Game Elite 2024

Bilal was one of the best guards off the dribble in the 16U division. He is really shifty and changes speeds and direction very well to create separation and get his shot off. He shot the ball well in the midrange and from three and also got to the basket well. His abilities off the bounce will give him a bright future and he is a notable name to keep track of in Georgia's 2024 class.
