DaRon Dunbar, Upward Stars CSRA (Pictured)
Dunbar ended the weekend as the leading scorer in our 15U division at over 20 points per game and he showed a well-rounded offensive skill set combined with great size and physicality at 6-foot-3. He was able to bully smaller guards and get to the rim at will, and he also showed the ability to hit from the perimeter and make the defense respect him from beyond the three-point line.
Tony Montgomery, Atlanta Xpress UAA
Montgomery has the makings of a very good point guard in the Peach State's 2025 class and will be a player to watch for in Columbus in the coming years. After a great freshman season at Spencer, he continued his good play at Spring Showdown as a great playmaker and two-way player. He can score and distribute the ball at a high level as well as defend hard and guard multiple positions.
Jermarcas Gaines, Elite Playmakers 2024
Gaines was a consistent scorer in our 16U division at over 16 points per game, going for 15 or more points in all four games. The combo guard is very quick off the dribble and used a very fast first step to blow by defenders and get into the paint, where he was a crafty and efficient finisher.
