Ty Davis, Pro One
Davis plays well beyond his years as a 2024 playing at the 17U level. He's a very efficient scorer who brings a lot of versatility, playmaking, and leadership to the table. He's very effective off the dribble and can get into the paint and make great reads and make the right play. He's a very good finisher around the rim with both hands and showed he can be a reliable shooter from three. Ole Miss offered him Monday following the event.
Ryan Steger, GATA Academy
Steger is a marksman from three. He averaged 3 three-point makes per game over the weekend and led GATA Academy in scoring. He has a ton of toughness on both ends and is not afraid to mix it up and play with physicality. He also showed that he can put the ball on the floor and attack closeouts for pull ups in the midrange and getting into the paint.
Jack Edelen, Hawks Elite
Edelen was one of the better floor generals in the 17U division over the weekend. He plays with a ton of feel and a high IQ, making great reads with the ball in his hands and having a great understanding for any situation. He's a very good shooter from three and is also effective putting the ball on the floor and employing a running floater in the paint and midrange.
Christian Watkins, One Shot Shooters
What Watkins lacks in size he makes up for in heart and toughness. He's as skilled as they come at the lead guard position, with the ability to keep the ball on a string and score it from every level of the floor. His toughness stood out a ton, as he had an answer for every moment of adversity that his team faced over the weekend.
Antonio Johnson, Unit Elite
Johnson finished the weekend as the top scorer in the division at over 25 points per game, scoring 20 or more in every game on the weekend. He's a bully of a guard with a ton of physical strength that can get to the rim and score at will. He was the go-to guy for Unit Elite all weekend, and he responded very well, coming through with buckets whenever they needed one.
JayQuan Nelson, ENG United
Nelson has a knack for scoring the ball. He's extremely quick off the dribble, changes speed and direction very well, and is a smooth finisher around the rim. Defenders consistently had trouble keeping him in front all weekend, and he's a very dangerous player when he's able to get in the paint and to the rim. He's a sleeper in 2023 in Georgia.
