RYZE Live Showcase I 16U Top Performers Pt. 2

Qua Brown, Atlanta Xpress

Brown turned a lot of heads with his athletic ability and created a lot of hype with his finishes above the rim. He was one of the best athletes in the field and he brings it on both ends of the floor. He's a good rim attacker and uses his physical tools to get into the paint and finish. He also has the ability to be a very high-level defender who can pressure the ball and cause turnovers.

Marcus Whitlock, Atlanta Xpress

Whitlock was a sniper from three over the course of the weekend. His range stretches well beyond the three point line and he showed that he can attack closeouts, put the ball on the floor, and score off the dribble. He's a scrappy competitor and brings a ton of intangibles and toughness to the table. He was a huge reason why Xpress won some tough games and advanced to the championship game in 16U Platinum.

Chase Hill, Team Huncho

Hill led the 16U Platinum division in scoring at 24 points per game and was incredibly consistent all weekend. He's an aggressive attacker and got to the rim at will all weekend where he was able to finish and draw contact. He plays with his foot on the gas at all times and his mentality of constantly being on the attack was impressive all weekend long.

Cameron Pope, Wood Elite

Pope was a big time eye opener from the get-go on Saturday. He opened the weekend with a 20-point effort against the Georgia Stars and he only went up from there, and he ended the weekend averaging 23 points per game. He has a very high skill level and has a variety of moves off the dribble. He's a true three level scorer and can hit shots from three or get to the rim and score. He's filled with toughness and plays with a swagger and chip on his shoulder that is fun to see.

Nathan Rodriguez, North Metro Elite

Rodriguez always seems to show up and produce at a high level at our events, and this one was no different. He averaged over 17 points per game and did so as a high level finisher on the interior. He has a really high skill level and is loaded with toughness. He's a very good passer and a high level rebounder. He consistently out-rebounds bigger players which speaks to his toughness and ability to hit the glass.
