RJ Godfrey Bound for Clemson

North Gwinnett & Atlanta Xpress senior forward RJ Godfrey has committed and signed to Clemson and head coach Brad Brownell.

One of the Peach State's top prospects in 2022, Godfrey cut his list to six at the beginning of November, and chose the Tigers today. He becomes the third commitment for Clemson, joining fellow Georgia forward Chauncey Wiggins as well as Duncanville (TX) wing Chauncey Gibson.

AT 6-foot-7, Godfrey is as versatile a player as there is across the southeast and has spent time at every position during his time at North Gwinnett. He's a multi-positional defender and will serve as a terrific do-everything glue-guy for the Tigers.

Godfrey is the son of former UGA & NFL linebacker Randall Godfrey. He chose Clemson over Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, and Utah.
