Grayson 2022 forward Chauncey Wiggins became one of the hotter names in Georgia's 2022 class with his play in the June scholastic period and July live periods. He came up big, playing his best basketball against high level competition in front of coaches from high major programs across the country.
The 6-foot-9 forward has one of the highest ceilings of any player in Georgia or across the southeast. He is very versatile, has great mobility, and has the ability to step out onto the perimeter and make shots. He's become much more assertive and aggressive with his game, and it has paid off for him big time.
Maryland, Clemson, Auburn, NC State, ECU, SMU, and Georgia Tech are among the schools that are recruiting him the hardest, while he also holds other recent offers from Washington State, Wichita State, and Penn. Wiggins has plans on narrowing down those choices in the coming weeks, and will continue to be a highly sought-after recruit in the Peach.
