Grayson vs. South Gwinnett
The Comets will be looking to gain some ground on Grayson, who is tied for first with Newton atop Region 4-7A. There should be a good atmosphere for this one, so expect a tough, hard-nosed game. South Gwinnett senior Justin Redmond has had some great moments this season and he will go up against a great Grayson backcourt that includes Gicarri Harris, CJ Hyland, and Ant Alston in this one. '
North Cobb Christian vs. Drew Charter
Two of Georgia's best unsigned seniors face off in this one between two very good teams in 1A. NCCS forward Albert Wilson has had a tremendous season and is one of the most productive dudes you'll find in Georgia. Drew senior wing Cedric Taylor is red hot coming into this one and has become one of the more popular unsigned players in the state in recent weeks.
Creekview vs. Sequoyah
A Cherokee County rivalry game, this one will feature two of the next-up guys in the county in Sequoyah's Brendan Tousignaut and Creekview's Luke Jack. Sequoyah needs a win to keep pace with the top three teams in the region as we approach postseason play, so I'd expect senior guard and UAH commit Preston Parker to really show up tonight on the road.
Blessed Trinity vs. Pope
Two teams that are enjoying very good seasons face off in a return game that saw Blessed Trinity hold home court back in mid January. Senior guard Ryan Luttrell has had a good season for the Greyhounds, who also have a solid sophomore guard in Zach Bleshoy. Blessed Trinity is led by Belmont commit Brigham Rogers as well as sophomore guard Ty Harpring.
Alexander vs. Langston Hughes
These two teams have run away with Region 5-6A, with Alexander atop the region at 13-0 and Langston Hughes on their heels at 12-1, with their only loss coming against Alexander back in January. Hughes senior guard Randy Latham has had a great season, and he will be matched up against a good Alexander bakcourt that features Chattanooga commit Noah Melson and senior JayQuan Nelson.
