Our on the RYZE Series will feature the most trending players in the region. These are guys that are generating big time buzz and making their mark. Over the course of the travel and high school seasons, we will continue to showcase these players.
Maybe the biggest sleeper in the Peach state emerged at the RYZE Tip Off Classic at the end of March and continued that into last weekend as well. Wood Elite & Sandy Creek 2023 wing/forward Eltramon Smith is a player that we will be hearing a lot of over the next few weeks.
The long 6-foot-7 lefty has a lot of skills in his bag and is one of the most versatile players that you will find in Georgia's 2023 class. He does a little bit of everything and is highly athletic and a great finisher around the rim. He works inside out and can knock down shots in the midrange and from the perimeter. He also has a really nice face-up game in the mid-post and can make moves in the paint to finish at the rim, where he can finish through contact.
He has been the biggest eye-opener of the travel season so far and will be a player that cements himself among the top players in Georgia's 2023 class. It will not be long before high major programs start to take notice and the interest and offers start rolling in for him.
