Dorman (SC) & Team Dickerson senior forward Noah Clowney has committed to Alabama and head coach Nate Oats.
The 2022 6-foot-9 four-man was recruited heavily by a number of high major programs, and chose the Crimson Tide over Indiana, Virginia Tech, and Florida.
Clowney was a top performer at a number of RYZE Travel series events in the 2020 and 2021 travel seasons, including being apart of the Super Six at the 2021 RYZE Tip Off Classic. He is a consensus top-60 ranked player in the country, and joins five-star PG Jaden Bradley and five-star wing Brandon Miller in the Tide's 2022 recruiting class, a class which will put them amongst the top in the country.
With a ton of length and a great skill set, the Crimson Tide are getting a player that can make an impact on both ends. He's a very good rim protector and can hold down the paint defensively. On the other end, he can play inside-out and has the skills to score the ball on the block as well as step out and connect on shots from the perimeter.
