Kell moved to 2-0 on the season with another big win, this time at Holiday Hoopsgiving over Greenforest xx-xx.
This one was close throughout with each team making their runs. Kell led late, but some timely buckets from Greenforest guard Elijah Lewis got the game to overtime.
Foul trouble and missed free throws plagued the first overtime, and the game went into a second overtime.
Kell capitalized on a couple of foul-outs and turnovers in the second overtime. Cannon Richards and CJ Brown came up with some timely buckets to win the game 67-63.
Richards was the most impactful player on the floor with his scoring, rebounding, defense, and energy level. He made plays and impacted the outcome.
Kell center Peyton Marshall did a good job holding down the middle and getting to the free throw line down the stretch and in the second half.
