In a matchup of two tough team at the Classic TOC at Wheeler, Grayson was able to get the best of Alexander 64-60 in a back and forth affair.
The Rams' inside-out combo of junior guard Gicarri Harris and sophomore forward Amir Taylor saw a lot of success as did junior guard Anthony Alston.
Harris got to the rim whenever he wanted and was able to hit shots from the perimeter. Taylor was great finishing on the interior and showed the ability to step out and knock down catch and shoot threes.
Alexander briefly took leads in the second half behind a great shooting stretch from Chattanooga commit Noah Melson and clutch buckets from JayQuan Nelson, but in the end, the Rams were too much.
