Gonzaga Outlasts Pebblebrook at Hoopsgiving

One of the great DC programs, Gonzaga College HS, came down for Holiday Hoopsgiving and took on Pebblebrook in their first game.

They got off to a fast start, executing at a high level on offense behind a big performance from sophomore guard Nyk Lewis.

Pebblebrook made their run in the second half with Dayton signee Jaiun Simon's shot making ability, cutting the lead to 4 late. However, they got no closer with Gonzaga taking the game 72-63.

Lewis led the way with 24 points. Daniel Holmes and Thomas Batties provided a big frontcourt boost as well.

Simon led Pebblebrook with 20 points.
