GHSA Weekly Top Performers Nov. 30-Dec. 5



Bruce Thornton, Milton

Thornton went off for 34 points in a win over Grayson in what could be a preview of a late round state playoff game. He shined on the biggest stage, which does not come as a surprise to anyone who has been around Georgia basketball for the last few years.



Elijah Tucker, Cherokee

Tucker started the week by posting 23 points in a rivalry game win over Sequoyah. He followed that with a double-double 17-point, 10-rebound performance in a win over Heritage. He is getting better as the year goes on and Xavier should be excited about what they are getting with him.



Anthony Arrington, Galloway School (Pictured)

Arrington got his season started with a 30-piece in an opening game win for Galloway. He followed that with a 16-point performance in a win over Marist

Will Richard, Woodward Academy

The Belmont signee is on a tear to start the year for woodward academy. He poured in 27 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in a win over Drew, and then he followed that with a stat-stuffing performance in a win over Mays with 15 points, 7 boards, and 6 assists.



Tremain Davis, North Cobb Christian

Davis has emerged as a name to watch in 2022. He averaged 23.5 points per game this week in wins over Furtah Prep & SACA.



Kaleb Banks/Terry Brown, Fayette County

A win over McDonough highlighted the week for Fayette County, and the dynamic duo was great again combining for 52 points. They also performed well against Sandy Creek. Brown has emerged as one of the better unsigned seniors in the state.



Mari Jordan, Dacula

Two wins this week for Dacula, and Jordan was great in both. He averaged 18 points in the two games against Winder-Barrow and Mountain View. The do-it-all wing is one to watch in Georgia's 2023 class.

Mason Barnes, Lambert

There aren't many guards who are as crafty as Barnes. He has started off his senior year with a bang and this week was no different with 27-point and a 20-point performances.
