Team Preview:
Despite having a lot of turnover with great players like Jamall Clyce, Danny Stubbs, and Tyler Shirley off to their college teams, The Brook has quite a bit of experience returning as well as a couple of new faces that should help bolster their losses as well.
This year’s Falcons team will feature a number of talented guards and will not be short of offensive firepower in the backcourt. Troy commit Andre Young can really score the ball and will provide great perimeter shooting for the Falcons. Fellow senior guard Kami Young had one of the best travel ball seasons of anyone in Georgia’s 2022 class and has a well-rounded offensive and defensive game that should prove to be a great complement.
Senior combo guard Jordan Brown comes in via transfer, and he has a great reputation of competitiveness and being able to score the ball at a high clip. Seniors Nyle Hillmon & Jordan Daniels should also provide even more production from the backcourt for the Falcons.
With senior transfer Kendall Campbell currently sidelined with an injury, 6-foot-7 junior forward Jaiun Simon will be the primary presence in the Brook frontcourt. He’s shown a lot of promise on the travel ball circuit and has the opportunity to have a big year. Junior wing Xavier Bell will also provide additional size, length, and athleticism.
