Team Preview:

Coming off of a state championship a year ago, Milton returns nearly their entire squad for this season with a couple of new additions. Senior point guard and Ohio State commit Bruce Thornton is one of the best winners the Peach has seen in recent memory and he will certainly be adding a big number to his tally this season. Joining him in the Milton backcourt are five-star junior guard Kanaan Carlyle, who provides a huge scoring and defensive boost for the Eagles, and senior guard Chase Cormier, who transfers in from Greenforest and provides great perimeter shooting and one of the state’s best offensive skill sets.

George Mason commit Cam Walker is the anchor on the wing for the Eagles and is the ultimate glue-guy, doing whatever his team needs. He is coming off of a standout travel season that saw his recruitment skyrocket, and he will have high expectations coming into the year.

Junior forward LT Overton is the feature player in the frontcourt and gives the Eagles the size, strength, and rebounding ability on the interior. While he is a blue-chip defensive end on the football field, he is also a standout on the hardwood. He is joined by senior Jonathan Murray, who transfers in from Huffman (AL). Murray gives the Eagles additional size in the frontcourt as well as the ability to step out on the perimeter and hit shots.
