GHSA Notable Performances - January 31



  • McEachern five-star 2024 forward & Rutgers commit Ace Bailey continued his tremendous season and went for another 30-piece in a win over Marietta, finishing with 30 points, 5 boards & 4 steals.

  • Rome got a huge offensive explosion in a win over Sequoyah, going over the 90-point mark. They were led by senior wing Cameron Keith, who was one of the top scorers in the state on the night, going for a huge 35 points in the win.

  • Centennial got huge performances from 2025 guard KJ Garris & 2024 guard Kennedy Warren, who each went for 21 points in a win over Northview. Both of these guys could have significant travel seasons this year.

  • Trinity Christian has one of the most versatile guys in Georgia's 2024 class in guard/wing Ernesto Almonte. Last night in a win over North Clayton, he went for 25 points & 12 boards, showing that he could be a spring stock riser.

  • South Paulding senior guard Jeremiah Taylor is one of the state's notable unsigned seniors & has had a solid season for the Spartans. He went for 24 points & 9 rebounds in a rivalry region win over Paulding County.

  • Peachtree Ridge might have gotten the biggest win of the night, winning a nail-biter rivalry game over Norcross at home. Junior guard Byron Martin led the way with 22 points and the Lions got big moments down the stretch from Colin Washington & Connor Teasley.

  • Another game & another big performance from Lanier 2024 forward Jayce Nathaniel. He's put up numbers game after game for the Longhorns this season, this time going for 21 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Shiloh.

  • Clarke Central 2025 guard Marcus Gillespie is one of the best underclass bucket getters in the state & has put up huge numbers this season. He followed up a 38-piece on Saturday with 30 points against Heritage last night.
