Exposure Breakout: Friday Night Notes

The Exposure Breakout features some of the best Adidas 3SSB teams from across the southeast and the nation. The opening night of the event featured some high level play from some notable names nationally as well as good performances from players trying to make their name. Here are some opening night notes:

  • Game Elite 3SSB's offense was rolling tonight in a cruise control win over OSA Crusaders. In Scoot Henderson's absence, the other guards stepped up and shined to lead their team. Chase Cormier (Pictured) had some phenomenal bright spots, making some plays that most guards wouldn't be able to. Threading passes through the defense, knocking down shots from three, and making acrobatic finishes around the rim.

  • Freebandz Celtics 16U group just continues to show up and win games. They have been one of the better winning teams in Georgia during the travel season, and they continued that with a win over Team Assault. Forward Ne'Kyle Williams was a standout in the game, finishing buckets around the rim and protecting the rim on the other end.

  • Utah Prospects 17U group is a very tough team, led by their frontcourt of 6-foot-9 duo Zach Keller and Jaxon Kohler. They make everything tough for the opposition on both ends and can hit the glass hard. Keller was also the biggest standout for the Prospects on the offensive side, stepping out and knocking down shots. In the backcourt, 2022 guards Rex Sunderland and Collin Chandler were both solid as well. Sunderland really excels quickly covering ground and finishing in the open court and Chandler can create for himself and make shots from all levels of the floor.
