Early Season 2024 Stock Risers

Cannon Richards, Kell

We have talked to a lot of coaches over the past few weeks, and one of the consistent needs at the next level is rebounding. Richards is relentless on the glass and always brings a big time motor. Combine that with his developing offensive game and the ability to catch and shoot from three, and you have a guy that should get a lot of attention come the travel season.

Kahmare Holmes, Archer

Holmes might be the biggest sleeper in the Peach. He's still not fully mentioned with the better guards and wings in the class, but expect that to change very soon. At a strong 6-foot-4 he has great size on the wing and his physicality and scoring ability really set him apart. He's been very productive scoring the ball this season, and as college programs catch on to him, expect his recruitment to skyrocket.

Matthew Hinton, Dutchtown

Size is always at a premium, and Hinton has elite level size. At a very strongly built 6-foot-8, He looks the part of a Division I recruit and has made some eye-popping plays this season at the rim. He finishes plays above the rim with authority and shows that he can score on the block as well and rebound at a high level. He is definitely one of the bigger frontcourt sleepers in the state.

Luke Flynn, Walton

Flynn has long been one of the best floor generals in this class, but it's hard to ignore the productivity he's had this year as well as the strides he continues to make physically. He's been one of the best scorers and creators in the state regardless of class and his skill level and shooting ability is too difficult to ignore. It wouldn't be a surprise to see high major programs start doing their due-diligence on him more and more and see his recruitment take another step.

CJ Hyland, Grayson

Hyland has had a productive first half of the season for the Rams and has jumped into the lead guard spot with his new team very well. He's stepped up in the biggest moments and has looked confident doing it. He does everything you like to see from a lead guard and is very good making plays off the bounce and scoring the ball from the perimeter.
