Jaliyah Benefield

Dacula 2025 guard Jaliyah Benefield is a creative offensive guard with a nice handle and good touch in the mid-range. Jaliyah has a quick first step and long stride which allows her to cover ground and get to her spots with little resistance. She attacks driving gaps with good downhill force but still maintains enough balance and body control to elevate into her mid-range and finish with touch over her defender. I was also impressed with Jaliyah’s defensive motor. She was into the ball handler, had active hands, and has the size/speed combo which allows her to defend multiple positions.

Sophia Pearl

River Ridge 2025 guard Sophia Pearl showed why Furman University is happy that she’s committed to them. Pearl is a problem for the defense both with and without the ball in her hands. When she’s on the ball Sophia does well maintaining a live dribble while letting plays develop for herself or others. Sophia processes the floor well and knows when to attack, when to kick, or when to settle things down and get the team organized. Sophia can also play off the ball as she’s a catch and shoot threat with range out to the three but also moves and cuts well and is a good finisher at the rim with either hand.

Jessica Fields

Mt. Paran 2025 forward Jessica Fields has the makings of a matchup problem for any forward who she goes against. She has size, athleticism, toughness, and a motor that runs. Jessica is tough on the glass. She is a really good out of area rebounder and does well high pointing the ball when she pursues it. Jessica is a tough finisher against contact, shows ability to catch and shoot from three, and put the ball on the floor to create for herself. What Jessica lacks in bulk, she makes up for it with athleticism and effort but she’s still strong enough to hold her own against bigger forwards.
