We have more news regarding the Battle For Georgia. Previously scheduled for the weekend of August 22-23, we are moving the tournament featuring the top travel teams in the state to the weekend of August 28-30. With tournaments and showcases starting again, moving the tournament back provides our staff additional time to evaluate exactly who the top teams in the Peach State are in each age group.
We are expanding the Battle for Georgia weekend to include a Qualifier on Friday and Saturday, August 28-29. The Qualifier will include 16 teams in a single-elimination style tournament, with the winner in each age group moving to the Battle for Georgia on Sunday, August 30. All teams playing in the Qualifier will be guaranteed two games over the course of the two days. The remaining seven teams in the Battle for Georgia will be selected on an invitation basis.
All game will be live streamed for college coaches (and fans) to view! Again, registration for the Battle For Georgia & Qualifier will begin Thursday, June 25 at 7:00 PM. The cost is $275 and will guarantee your team two games on Friday and Saturday August 28-29 – and a chance to call yourself the best in Georgia! Registration can be found here.
