Game one of the second day of the Jared Cook Classic was a high-paced, high-pressure one between Archer & Hillgrove.
Archer applied the defensive pressure that they have become known for and Hillgrove returned it right back, both teams capitalizing on turnovers early. Eventually, the Tigers won out with a big fourth quarter, winning the game 71-51.
Senior guard Darrian Joseph and junior guard/wing Kahmare Holmes were the difference makers in the end, giving the Tigers a huge boost getting to the rim and converting. Guard Elijah Davis & forward Dominick Wright also provided a huge spark.
Seniors Kameron McCall & Caleb Humperhies were great for the Hawks, as was junior wing Trey Shepherd. The trio provided a lot of the productivity for the Hawks.
