Anselem Chooses Orange

Class of 2020 center Frank Anselem announced his commitment to Syracuse this afternoon.

Anselem, who played his first two high school seasons at Westlake High School in Atlanta as a member of the 2021, finished up his high school career at Prolific Prep in California this year. Back in April, he decided to expedite his high school graduation to this year and will be on his way to play for the Orange as a member of the 2020 class.

He becomes the third high school commitment in the 2020 class for Syracuse as he joins four-star shooting guard Kadary Richmond and four-star power forward Woody Newton in the class.

Before choosing the Orange, Anselem also considered Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, San Diego State, Seton Hall, Wake Forest and Western Kentucky along with several others. Kentucky was also briefly involved with the 6-foot-10 post player.
