We are happy to announce the expansion of the RYZE Hoops staff with the addition of Devin Mitchell to the RYZE Hoops team.
Mitchell played his high school ball at Collins Hill and was rated as a consensus top-125 player in the nation in the class of 2014 by various publications. He signed with the University of Alabama over about a dozen other high major offers, and he played in Tuscaloosa for one year before transferring back home to Georgia State.
Mitchell played three seasons at Georgia State under head coach Ron Hunter, helping the Panthers to three 20+ win seasons, including two Sun Belt Conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. He averaged double figures in scoring during his junior and senior seasons in Atlanta, including leading the Sun Belt in three point shooting during his senior year.
He will be helping to lead event operations as well as event marketing. He will also be a content contributor to the RYZE website as well as RYZE social media platforms. We are very excited for his addition and look forward to him hitting the ground running.
