Up next in the LakePoint Hoops Class of 2021 Spotlight Series…

Jojo Peterson

Position: Combo Guard

Height: 6’4”

High School: Mt. Pisgah

Travel Team: Team Dickerson

Scholarship Offers: Kennesaw State, Elon, Mount St. Marys

Scouting Report: A combo guard with good size and length, Peterson really excels in the open floor where he can use his speed, vision, and finishing ability to create for himself and his teammates. He really excels at attacking the paint off the dribble and using his size to his advantage when he gets around the rim. He has the ability to make good reads and make the right play in the right situations. When he gets to the rim, he can use his body to shield defenders and finish with contact and finish with either hand. On the defensive side, he moves really well and has quick hands that can create turnovers and deflections. With his combination of skill level and physical tools, expect his recruitment to pick up in the coming months.
