2021 Spotlight: Isaac Abidde

With the travel season on hold and no opportunity for prospects entering their final year of high school to play in front of college coaches to earn scholarships, LakePoint Hoops wants to put the spotlight on the Class of 2021. Each day over the next few weeks we will be profiling a top prospect in Georgia in hopes of helping prospects generate buzz with college coaches.

Up next in the LakePoint Hoops Class of 2021 Spotlight Series…

Isaac Abidde

Position: Power Forward

Height: 6’8”

High School: Westover

Travel Team: YRN/Team Huncho

Scholarship Offers: Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Charleston Southern

Scouting Report: Abidde has all of the physical tools that you like to see from a high level prospect. At 6-foot-8 he has a strong build and good length and his athleticism is something that is rare to find in a high school player. He has a good motor and a high work rate as well as good hands and a developing skillset. He has the potential to be a very good defensive player with his ability to time shots and protect the rim. He also has shown that he can be a dominant player on the boards as well. He has had some very eye opening moments over the last year and should be one for high major programs to look at closely over the next few months.
