The opening game of day three of the Jared Cook Classic featured Mount Vernon and Denmark.
The first half was incredibly slow, with Mount Vernon fresh off the bus from playing in Memphis last night, and they were down 10 at half after struggling offensively.
The second half was a much improved from an energy standpoint from both sides and stayed close the entire way.
Down 3 with 5 seconds left, Mustangs wing Pace Bottoms got fouled shooting a three and hit all three free throws to send the game to OT, where Denmark guards Chad Molloy & Luke Jensen hit big threes to lift Denmark to a 50-47 win.
